Golden Rift was a full service renovation of a 1970s home on Lake Samish. The intent was to reimagine the home while respecting its original character, introducing a renewed sense of life through warm wood tones.

Custom stained in-house and finished in a soft matte, the cabinetry highlights the natural character of the wood while maintaining a clean, understated presence. The veneers used were custom laid up and meticulously selected. Flat panel doors with subtle vertical grooves reinforce the linearity, giving the space a more architectural feel. Full-height cabinetry meets a square crown at the ceiling, creating a seamless, built-in effect that enhances the overall composition. The custom hood, crafted in-house, echos the design of the surrounding cabinetry, allowing material and form to remain the focus.

Granite counter tops introduce a grounded contrast, while integrated pantry pocket doors conceal storage with ease and intention. The result is a kitchen designed as a true gathering space, ready for hosting and everyday functionality.
