White oak is available in four cuts, each with a distinct grain character:

• Plain Sawn — Cathedral grain figuring; the most common and cost-effective cut.
• Rift Sawn — Tight, consistent linear grain with minimal figuring.
• Quarter Sawn — Straight grain with distinctive medullary ray flecking.
• Rustic — Natural knots, mineral streaks, and pronounced color variation.
